Veterinary Care Foundation (VCF) and Multi Radiance Medical (MRM) have announced a partnership to help more veterinarians provide lifesaving care for clients’ pets by investing in new modalities for pain management, inflammation, wound healing and more.
Founded in 2008, VCF enables veterinary practices to set up a 501(c)(3) charitable fund. The veterinarian’s clients can then make tax deductible donations and 100% of these donated funds go to their veterinarian’s practice.
Thanks to a generous client, Bea Ersham, DVM, was able to purchase Super Pulsed Laser therapy devices from MRM to help care for rescue dogs suffering from arthritis and other debilitating conditions.
“I have many clients who appreciate how hard we work for their pets’ health and welfare,” explained Dr. Ersham. “The ability for clients to now deduct their donations to us so we can invest in better care for their pets has been huge.”
VCF takes the guesswork out of funding new modalities for veterinary practices. Most veterinarians have neither the time nor expertise to create and then manage their own 501c non profit organization.
“We now have hundreds of veterinarian members across the U.S. and we help them with every detail required to receive these much-needed donations,” says VCF Founder and President Richard A. Heysek. “Their testimonials are proof of how well this program is working.”
